Neal Isamu Nakagama, passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 38. Neal was a remarkable individual, known for his talents, compassion, and unwavering support for women’s rights.

Talents and Achievements:
He was a gifted wrestler. He achieved the impressive feat of being a 3 time Howard County Champion, a distinction held by only a select few. Additionally, he secured his second 2A/1A South Region championship.
Beyond wrestling, Neal was an avid gamer, showcasing his passion for competitive and strategic pursuits.
Family and Relationships:
Neal leaves behind a loving family. His parents, Cliff and Mary; sisters Patsy and Janice (Richard), brother Matthew; uncles and aunties Nobel and Nora, Joe and Christina, George and Shawn, his cousins who held a special place in his heart, especially Nicole.
Neal's friends, too numerous to list, will miss him dearly. His hugs and bright spirit touched many lives in Howard County and throughout his home state of Maryland.

Neal was not only a wrestler and gamer but also a believer, protector, and advocate for women’s rights. His enormous heart and generosity made a positive impact on those around him.
Memorial Service Details:
A memorial service will be held in Neal’s honor at Harry H. Witzke’s Family Funeral Home in Ellicott City, Maryland on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Attendees are encouraged to wear Oakland Mills High School colors—orange and black—to celebrate Neal’s legacy.
