Neal Nakagama Obituary

Neal Isamu Nakagama, passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 38. Neal was a remarkable individual, known for his talents, compassion, and  unwavering support for women’s rights.

Let me share some details about his life:

Talents and Achievements:

He was a gifted wrestler.  He achieved the impressive feat of being a 3 time Howard County Champion, a distinction held by only a select few.  Additionally, he secured his second 2A/1A South Region championship.

Beyond wrestling, Neal was an avid gamer, showcasing his passion for competitive and strategic pursuits.

Family and Relationships:

Neal leaves behind a loving family.   His parents, Cliff and Mary; sisters Patsy and Janice (Richard), brother Matthew;  uncles and aunties Nobel and Nora, Joe and Christina, George and Shawn, his cousins who held a special place in his heart, especially Nicole.

Neal's friends, too numerous to list, will miss him dearly.  His hugs and bright spirit touched many lives in Howard County and throughout his home state of Maryland.

Advocate for Women's Rights:

Neal was not only a wrestler and gamer but also a believer, protector, and advocate for women’s rights. His enormous heart and generosity made a positive impact on those around him.
