Rhoda Rosenthal

Rhoda Rosenthal died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Brook Grove Rehabilitation and Nursing in Sandy Spring, Maryland.  Rhoda was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Gertrude Smith; her beloved husband, Louis; her grandson, Louis; and her brother, Michael Smith.  She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Smith, MD (ret.); her son, Robert, and his wife, Nancy; and her son, Gary, and his wife, Kimberly.  Rhoda worked in the banking industry for many years.  She and Lou retired to the Delaware coast.  Rhoda enjoyed strolling along the beach, traveling, spending time with her family, and volunteering at the local senior center.  The burial will be private.  Donations may be made in Rhoda’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research - Bright Focus.
