Robert Hnat Obituary

Robert “Bob” Allen Hnat, 64, of Westminster, MD passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019. He was born August 15, 1954 to Roman Walter Hnat and Catherine Cecilia Hnat in Baltimore, MD and grew up in Ellicott City, MD. Bob worked as a mechanic for most of his career, noting Oldsmobile as his favorite car to work on. He since worked at Bon Secours as head of maintenance and in housekeeping.

Bob, a devoted and caring father, spouse, grandfather, and brother, is survived by loving partner Della McIntyre, beloved and cherished daughter Julie Warren (Sean), grandsons Garrett and Jacob Warren, brother Roman Hnat (Diana), and brother Donald Hnat (Debbie). He was preceded in death by parents Roman and Catherine.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 21, 2-4pm and 6-8pm, at the Harry H. Witzke’s Family Funeral Home, 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043. Funeral service will be held at Witzke’s Funeral Home on Friday, February 22 at 11am, followed by procession to Meadowridge Cemetery in Elkridge for burial. A reception will be held at Bon Secours in Marriottsville, MD immediately following burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Sisters of Bon Secours.
