On May 4, 2026, Rosalie Madalyn Bryant Welsh passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Robert Francis Welsh, Sr. for 68 years; daughter of Ira L. and Madaline T. Bryant; sister of Mary (deceased), devoted mother of Terrie Lynn Schletzer Frederick (deceased) and her daughter Kristina, Robert F. Welsh, Jr., Stuart W. Welsh and his wife Linda, and Stephen B. Welsh and his wife Anne; loving grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 8. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was known for her devotion to her family, her pursuit of excellence, and her strong faith. She impacted the lives of many through her strong work ethic, thirst for knowledge, and unwavering love for those around her. She was Vice President of Welsh Electric Corp. and President of CC Murphy, Inc. (a building supply distributor).

The family will receive friends at Harry H. Witzke's Funeral Home, 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 2–4 pm and 6–8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 1 pm at Baltimore National Cemetery, 5501 Frederick Avenue, Baltimore.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church or K9s For Warriors.
