Sandra S. Lohmeyer

Sandra S. Lohmeyer, passed away May 9 th , 2025, at the age of 82.

Sandy was born on January 4th, 1943, to Helyn Adele Frye in Toledo Ohio. A graduate of Flower Hospital School of Nursing and Antioch College, Sandy would go on to move to Maryland in 1970 and would work and find a community that turned into family at the Maryland School for the Blind where she lived with her two daughters, Kathleen and Kimberly. She loved sailing with her friends and family, traveling, and a good wine.

In 2001 Sandy would go on to marry the love of her life, Edwin Lohmeyer, and her family grew over time to include eight wonderful grandchildren.

Sandy was predeceased by her mother Helyn, her brother Michael, and her daughter Kimberly. She is survived by her husband Edwin, her sister Pam, her daughter Kathleen (Todd), and her grandchildren, Sarah, Cameron (Tiffany), Aiden, Jordan, Tyler, Abbie, Jocelyn, and Ross.
