Stanley Joseph Kalvaitis

Stanley Kalvaitis, 84, of Gaithersburg, MD, passed away in his residence on May 11, 2025. He was born in Lithuania on May 5, 1941 to Constance and Joseph Kalvaitis.

After graduating high school, Stanley went on to various trade schools learning computer programming and design.  Stanley was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Stanley spent most of his career working at the Control Data Corporation.

Upon retiring, he happily spent most of his time with his hobbies: fishing and hunting. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved nature.

He is survived by his sister, Aldona Kindurys, of Ellicott City, MD, his niece Zita DiMeo and her husband, Dave, of Albuquerque, NM, their two daughters, Briana and Marissa, with their husbands, Justin and Vince, with their growing  young families, his nephew-in-law, Kestas Vaitkus, of Annapolis, MD and wife, Tina Miller, and Kestas’s two daughters, Janina and Katrina with their husbands, Will and Justin.
