Stephen H. Mitchell

Steve was born in Roanoke, VA, the "Star City of the South." He graduated from Midlothian High School in Midlothian, VA, and William and Mary, where he met his wife Linda in freshman math class. They were married for 54 years. 

He had a career of over 36 years with the Social Security Administration. He worked in several areas during that time and was a facilities manager when he retired. He also enjoyed freelance writing and photography. 

Steve loved to sail and was a member and past president of the Pearson Sailing Club. He loved trips to Key West and Williamsburg. 

He was 77.
