Susan Alison Cope

Susan Alison Cope, 59, of Sparks, Maryland, daughter of Shelby J. Elksnis and Guntis Elksnis, passed away September 29, 2025.

Susan graduated from Centennial High School in the class of 1983 and subsequently graduated from West Virginia University in the class of 1987. She will be remembered for her loving personality, kindness, and artistic abilities.

She is survived by her daughters, Jenifer T. Cope, Mckensie M. Cope, and Emilee A. Cope; her mother, Shelby J. Elksnis; her brother, Stephen M. Elksnis; and her cat “Jilly”.
