Vincent Sanudo born on January 22, 1940, also affectionally known as Vince or Vinny passed away on October 31, 2025, in Columbia, MD.
The son of late James and Matilda Sanudo, and husband to his late wife of 55 years and love of his life Raquel Sanudo. Vince was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He moved and lived in Ellicott City, MD since 1965. He had a passion for cars, however his biggest passion in life was his family.
Vince was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from spending time with the people he loved most. He cherished every moment shared with family and friends—whether it was gathering for a meal, celebrating special occasions, or simply enjoying each other’s company. Vince had a warm heart, a generous spirit, and an infectious smile that made everyone around him feel welcome and valued. His love for family was the foundation of his life, and the memories he created with those he cared for will forever be treasured.
He was a wonderful husband, son, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He showed strong leadership qualities, as he represented the United States as a Marine, in addition, he graduated college and became a lawyer. He touched many lives with his wisdom and humor. He is survived by his daughter, Renee Sanudo-Clingerman and his son, Vince Sanudo, as well as his son-in-law Todd Clingerman and his daughter-in-law Trula Reno Sanudo. He was a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren, Todd Jr. Clingerman, James Clingerman, Alexander Clingerman, and Tori Hainey, and his great grandchildren Caden Clingerman, Crew Clingerman, and Harper Haynie. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 6 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. at HARRY H. WITZKE'S FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of the Resurrection Chapel, 3175 Paulskirk Drive, Elliott City MD 21043 followed by the burial at 12:30 p.m. at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville.
A celebration of life will follow.
