Vincent G. Tumminello

 Vincent Giuseppe Tumminello passed away on March 10, 2023 at the age of 90.  He was born in Cefalu, Sicily to Domenico Tumminello, a fisherman and Giuseppa, a homemaker.  Vincent was the first born of ten children. In 1960, he emigrated to America to seek a better life for his wife and ten-month old daughter. He settled in Baltimore after quickly finding work in a clothing factory.  When the factory closed, he went to work for Bethlehem Steel. In 1972, he had an opportunity to purchase his own business along with his brother-in-law, Sam Greco. The two went on to run Broadway Fish Market in Fells Point until 1994.  He loved working so much that he continued to work until finally retiring at the age of 80.

Vincent will be remembered for his jovial spirit, generosity, strong work ethic, and love of family and friends.  He is survived by his wife, Josephine and their three daughters- Josephine Baccellieri, Angela Cholewczynski and her husband Scott, and Tina Cho. He leaves behind six grandchildren- Joseph Baccellieri and his wife Kelley, Vincent Baccellieri and his wife Kristen, Marco Baccellieri and his wife Kelly, Ana Noonan and her husband Steven, Giulia Cholewczynski, and Ava Cho. He also leaves behind seven great grandchildren- Lois, Sofia, Ella, Gianni, and Maeve Baccellieri, Leo and Luna Noonan.
