William Michael Lombard II, known affectionately as Bill, passed away on April 9, 2026, in Maryland at the age of 75.
Born on August 2, 1950, in New York, Bill had a larger-than-life personality and was an extremely proud family man, devoted to his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. He was the beloved husband of Pamela Lombard for 52 years and a cherished father to Chrissy Adair and Courtney Greer. He was also a father-in-law to Hunter Adair and Kolbe Greer, and a loving grandfather to Greyson, Ramsey, Remy, Beckett, Tucker, and Caysen. His family was the center of his world, and he took great joy in being present for their milestones, celebrations, and everyday moments.
Bill studied engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he developed the practical knowledge and disciplined mindset that would guide him throughout his life. He went on to build a successful career spanning more than twenty years at Eastman Kodak Company, earning respect for his strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to adapt within a changing industry. Following his time at Kodak, he transitioned into sales of digital imaging technology, continuing to apply his technical expertise and business acumen in a field that reflected the evolution of the industry he knew so well.
Those who knew Bill will remember his quick sense of humor, his strength, and his selfless nature. He had an outgoing personality that drew people in easily, and a kindness that made everyone feel welcome. Bill was always willing to lend a hand, whether it was fixing something as a skilled handyman or simply showing up when someone needed support. His generosity, warmth, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He valued hard work, but also embraced life’s simple pleasures. Whether spending time on the water boating and fishing, playing a round of golf, or cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events, he found happiness in being present with the people and moments he loved most.
Bill’s greatest pride was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and relative whose love was evident in the way he showed up for those around him. He celebrated the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren with enthusiasm and took sincere joy in their growth and successes. His presence will be deeply missed at family gatherings, on the sidelines, and in all the moments where his steady support and encouraging spirit were felt.
He leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, professionalism, and unwavering devotion to family. His life reflected the values he held dear, loyalty, responsibility, and a deep appreciation for the bonds that endure across generations. Though his passing leaves a profound void, his memory will remain a lasting source of comfort and strength for those who loved him.
Bill will be remembered with love and gratitude by Pamela, Chrissy, Courtney, Hunter, Kolbe, Greyson, Ramsey, Remy, Beckett, Tucker, Caysen, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His life was well lived, and his memory will be treasured always.
