William Marshall Reigel, Jr., “Liam,” passed away after a two year struggle against brain cancer surrounded by family on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 12:02 pm at his mother’s home in West Friendship, MD.
He was the beloved and cherished son of William Marshall Reigel, “Bill,” of Eldersburg, MD, and Samantha Reigel Green of West Friendship, MD as well as his step-father, Walter Green. He is survived by his sister, Skylar "Jupiter" A. Reigel; step-siblings Hannah Green, Kimsey Green, Gracyn Green, and Jameson Green; and his grandparents Trent Kittleman, Richard and Elizabeth Mitchell, Sherry Reigel, Robert and Estelle Reigel, and Marion and Carlton Green. He is loved by all his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Liam was a Freshman at Glenelg High School after graduating from Triadelphia Ridge Elementary School and Folly Quarter Middle School.
Liam loved the Baltimore Ravens (as does his mother), rooted for the Pittsburgh Steelers (to support his Dad) when they weren’t playing the Ravens. He was an avid Washington Capitals fan and enjoyed playing hockey and kicking field goals. His favorite players are Justin Tucker and Lamar Jackson from the Ravens and Alex Ovechkin and Lars Eller from the Capitals. He loved the fact that he got a chance to kick field goals on Raven’s field and to skate on the ice with the Capitals.
Liam, who was known for his humor, honesty, wit, intelligence and integrity; loved animals, especially his cat, Misty. Liam said he wanted to learn how to be a veterinarian hoping to channel his love for animals into helping them stay healthy.
