Xiuqing Wang, 93, of Ellicott City, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2020, surrounded by families. Xiuqing was born on Jan 10, 1927, in Jiangning prefecture, Jiangsu province, China. She had spent most of her life in Jiangning and later in Beijing, China. She moved to the US in 1995 and later was baptized at the Columbia Chinese Baptist Church. She had been a faithful member and was active with her church life. She was devoted to her family and had lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed cooking, organizing, and spending time with family. She loved making a difference in people’s lives.
Xiuqing is survived by her grandchildren, Di and Meng Qian; her great-grandchildren, Emmanuel (Tianyou), Mason (Yuchen), and Claire (Yutong); her sister, Xiufang Wang; daughter-in-law, Jinhuan Liu; her cousins, Yun Wang and Fei Wang; her nephews, Jun Ge and Wei Ge; And many other relatives living in Shanghai, China. She was predeceased by her sisters, Qingyuan and Xiuhua Wang; her husband, Jianyu Qian; her son, Zhiping Qian; and her nephew, Yong Ge.
Xiuqing was courageous, kind, caring, giving, and loving. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
