This option includes burial in a specialized cemetery which does not involve non-biodegradable chemicals or materials. Natural caskets, made from bamboo or willow, and biodegradable shrouds are available for encasing and transporting the remains. The use of refrigeration is available, and approved chemicals can be used to perform embalming for a viewing or visitation to be held. In addition, church services and graveside services can follow based on a family’s preference.
