Julie Kreutzer

Julie Kreutzer

Mortician

Julie is a Baltimore native who spent most of her life in the Fells Point area. She graduated from Seton Keough High School in 2002 and started her professional journey in a family-owned funeral home in early 2003 while attending Towson University with the intention of becoming a medical examiner. After experiencing all the aspects of funeral service, she decided to pursue a career as a mortician which led her to further her studies at CCBC in the Mortuary Science program, where she obtained her associates degree in 2007. She also decided to continue with her love of learning and in 2017 received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Science from the University of Baltimore.

Never one to shy away from a good time or a good cause, Julie's involvement in funeral service is as spirited as her rides on both her sports bike and cruiser. In balancing her profession and her love for motorcycles, Julie is a firm believer in the idea that life is to be celebrated, she often draws parallels between her two passions—one focused on honoring lives and the other centered on embracing the thrill of living.
